Beginners’

Beginners’ classes are designed for students with little to no experience as well as the seasoned practitioner. The basics and fundamental poses are presented at a slow-paced direction and a great level of detail so you can become familiar with basic yoga poses and use of the breath. These classes focus on combining proper alignment with breathing techniques and the use of props in your practice.

Candlelight Kundalini

Honor a week’s end and month’s beginning by enjoying the warm atmosphere of candlelight and a mindful meditation.

There will be light yoga in preparation for deep meditation and a gong-supported savasana. Come melt away tension and start a new cycle relaxed and refreshed.

Classes are open to students at all levels of experience.

Chair Yoga (Sit, Stay, Heal)

Chair yoga gives one the opportunity to practice classical Hatha yoga poses that are modified to be carried out while sitting in the comfort and safety of a chair. This type of class is great for seniors and those with injuries. Recommended for those who find it difficult to move up and down from the floor (knee, hip, joint, arthritis concerns), or want a gentle alternative to their practice.

Hatha Yoga

WARNING: Side effects of Hatha Yoga include increased balance, more flexibility (physically and mentally) and an enhanced connection to your highest self! In Hatha Yoga, we come into the breath and quiet the mind as we find familiarity and solid ground in asanas (yoga postures). Each class offers personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, energy, and breath–all within a playful, supportive environment.

All levels of practice are welcome.

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation

Kundalini yoga classes use movement and breath to facilitate a relaxed state for deep meditation.

Classes are open to students at all levels of experience.

Level YOU

Whatever your practice level, learn, play and practice in any LEVEL YOU class. Level YOU is wherever YOU are in your practice. Designed for all levels of experience, Level YOU classes are tailored to include modifications for beginners and challenging additions for yogi veterans. These classes focus on combining breath with movement.

Mommy & Baby Yoga

Come connect with your baby and other new moms! Mommy & Baby yoga is a fun and relaxed environment to find movement and some breath without having to leave your little sweetie at home. In place of the typical tranquil feel of a yoga class, expect a fluid space of music, yoga poses, dance, breath and room for whatever you and your baby need. We’ll also have time to connect on the many challenges and blissful moments of new parenthood.

This practice is appropriate for moms (once they have gotten the go-ahead from their doctor) and their babies (until they’re walking on their own).

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga is the perfect space to come to unwind and connect during every stage of pregnancy. The classes are focused on bringing you to your breath and into communion with and reverence for your body. Strengthening and stretching are catered to what the body needs to thrive during pregnancy and to prepare for birth and a healthy postpartum. Appropriate movement is combined with deeply nourishing themes that invite you to engage with pregnancy as a sacred and powerful time.

In every class, there is time to share and be witnessed by others who are walking the same sacred path of creating new life.

Restorative Bliss

Ahh, Restorative Yoga, the spa class of yoga classes.  Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing way of practicing yoga.  Given props, the student achieves poses without much muscular strength, facilitating deep release in the connective tissue and calming the nervous system.  Teachers may offer a meditative focus.

All levels welcome.

Vinyasa Flow

Let it go! Let it flow!  If you resist routine and love a physical challenge, this class style is for you.  Vinyasa flow typically begins with gentle movements to warm the body then steadily builds into more challenging sequences that flow from one to the other, often including sun salutations.  Instructors design their classes to smoothly transition from pose to pose, with the intention of linking breath to movement, and often playing music to keep things lively.

Levels 1-2

Yoga Blend

With Yoga Blend, you’ll work with your breath and body to help build stamina and flexibility. A hearty mix of Hatha and Vinyasa, sprinkled with Kundalini and Therapeutic Yoga with plenty of time to focus on your breathing and technique. Enjoy a blend of your favorite postures with just enough energetic movement.

Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR)

Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) combines the practical tools of the 12-step program with the ancient wisdom of yoga. Merging the two creates a model that addresses addiction as the physical, mental & spiritual dis-ease that it is. Y12SR is a 12-step based discussion & yoga practice open to anyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others.

This is an open and inclusive group; all A’s are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing. This is a donations only class.
